Haivision Launches Torpedo™ DVB-to-IP Gateways at IBC
Haivision Network Video today announced the immediate availability of the Torpedo™ family of DVB-to-IP gateways. Today's digital broadcasts can be harnessed and delivered over IP video networks without the need to re-encode the content. The Torpedo takes a digital RF DVB signal from a satellite or terrestrial antenna, extracts and filters the MPEG-2 transport stream packets, and retransmits them to multiple multicast or unicast UDP targets via an Ethernet interface. Using a single Torpedo, a number of digital satellite TV and radio services can be delivered to viewers over standard IP video networks.

Companies at IBC offering 3D Products and 3D Solutions
The future of television came bursting as Spain was working its way to the top of the soccer world last June/July in South Africa.
