RTS was introducing new partyline products at the IBC2016 show in Amsterdam. The new beltpack models BP-4000 (single-channel version) and BP-5000 (dual-channel version) come in a new design and a plug and play concept helping rental companies and large broadcasters to improve their performance and save time and money.

Utah Scientific, a worldwide leader in routing and master control switchers, today announced the UTAH-100/UDS Universal Distribution System, a new approach to signal distribution that combines the flexibility of a multirate digital routing switcher with the economy of simple distribution amplifiers.

At the 2011 NAB Show, Utah Scientific (booth N4511) and Sisvel Technology (booth N4618) will be demonstrating a new form of 3D broadcasting that is fully compatible with 2D television displays, allowing 3D and 2D viewing of a single broadcast stream. This is made possible by 3D Tile Format, an innovative technique for formatting stereoscopic images that integrates two 720p frames within a single 1080p frame. The reconstructed right and left images maintain their original 720p spatial and temporal resolution, giving viewers of both versions the full benefit of the original picture.

At IBC2017 in Axon's stand, Utah Scientific will showcase its all-new 400 Series 3 hybrid router and UHD-12G digital routing switcher in three demo stations: IP hybrid, Axon Cerebrum control, and 4K UHD. Highlights include a new frame controller card enabling seamless integration of the 400 Series 3 with Axon's Cerebrum control system, as well as conversion cards for SMPTE ST 2110 and SMPTE ST 2022-6/7 that also support the previous-generation 400 Series 2 routers. In addition, Utah Scientific will preview the prototype transceiver cards it is developing for both the 400 Series 2 and 400 Series 3.

400 Series Hybrid Router
At the 2018 NAB Show, Utah Scientific will demonstrate its new 400 Series hybrid digital router, a flexible platform designed to accommodate next-generation IP signals along with today's high-density SDI. All within a common frame, the 400 Series can handle any number of IP and SDI signal formats along with audio and data. The new SMPTE ST 2110 and SMPTE ST 2022-6/7 IP formats are supported, along with 3G-SDI, analog, HD, SD, and audio signals including analog, digital AES3, MADI, TDM, and AES67.

Utah Scientific today announced it has been awarded a U.S. patent on its revolutionary UTAH-400 iP router, which gives broadcasters real-time, on-the-fly control of port priority, port speed, and security groups on Ethernet networks. A 24-port managed-gigabit Ethernet workgroup router, the award-winning UTAH-400 iP improves efficiency any time that high-bit rate streaming video or large video files move over Ethernet.
