TVB, the largest broadcaster in Hong Kong, recently purchased two Artemis Beam and one Artemis Light consoles as part of its continuing audio technology upgrade. The latest installations bring the total of Artemis consoles at TVB to eight.

Digital Rapids announced today that TVBI Company Limited (TVBI) – the worldwide operating arm of Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), one of the world’s largest producers and distributors of Chinese-language programming – is using a complete range of Digital Rapids solutions to power sophisticated media processing and delivery workflows for bringing TVB content to viewers and distribution partners on four continents. The systems span the critical points in TVBI’s workflows including encoding, transcoding, live streaming and business-to-business content delivery.

TVBS, the Taiwanese commercial broadcaster, has installed a complete Clear-Comâ system for all of its wired and wireless communication requirements in its Taipei City headquarters and on location. The newly upgraded system enables the broadcaster to take advantage of the latest technologies including IP, and to easily integrate additional third party equipment.

GDS TV in Georgia contracted TVC to build a 24 camera High Definition OB van that would be used for the Summer Concert Hall events in Ureki Arena as well as for an outside broadcasting throughout the year. The Lithuanian OB van specialist TVC was tasked with project design, coach building, construction and integration of a new High-Definition OB van with expandable side panelling.

Lithuania system integrator TVC has completed construction of an OB Trailer for Norwegian public broadcaster NRK around a Lawo IP audio infrastructure, including mc²56 mixing console, A__UHD Processing Engine and VSM control. The new vehicle with advanced equipment is an investment for NRK’s ambitious future productions and is part of a technological standardization within the broadcast production facilities and mobile studios as NRK already uses mc² consoles in their concert hall and for news program productions.

System integrator TVC delivered 12 of 18 identical DSNG vehicles to News production company “Khabar” in Kazakhstan, which is well-known for its extreme summer and winter weather conditions. The remaining 6 units will be manufactured in spring 2014.

TVC was tasked with the design and delivery of a full set of OB vans to Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT), consisting of 2 vehicles, main OB van and auxiliary / support vehicle, including generator system. Cutting edge technology 16 camera live production vehicle named LRT HD OB X is the biggest addition to LRT OB Van fleet and will serve in major live events and sport productions.

TVC, a Lithuanian systems integrator specialising in TV integration, today announced that it has delivered 12 Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG) vehicles to news production company Khabar in Kazakhstan. Six more units are currently undergoing final fit-out and will be delivered to Khabar by the end of April.

The areas of expertise of TVC include project design, planning, coach-building, technological furniture production, broadcast equipment installation, software-configuration, commissioning, documentation, on-site training plus ongoing support and maintenance for TV studios, playout centres, editing facilities, digital news rooms, digital archives, transmission and satellite uplink systems, OB vans and DSNG stations.

On stand 0B02 in outside exhibition at IBC 2015, TVC in cooperation with GDS TV network will be showing newly built HD OB truck with dual  expandable side built on 14m Krone Jumbo chassis including up to 24x Ikegami HDK-79GX, plus Ikegami Hi motion cam system. Mobile unit is designed for sports and TV show production and will be dedicated for the Ureki Summer Concert hall in Georgia, Caucasus region.

On stand OE109 at IBC 2014, TVC in cooperation with Croatel will be showing newly built HD OB truck with single  expandable side built on Volvo FH420 chassis including up to 20x Grass Valley LDK8000 World Elite cameras + 2x LDK8300 Grass Valley super slow-motion cameras, XT3 EVS System and Miranda router system with Densite 3 frame cross-converter boards.

On stand O.D01 at IBC 2016, TVC in cooperation with Levira will be showing newly built HD OB truck with dual expandable side built on Volvo FH5000 chassis. Brand new OB vehicle has the operating capacity of up to 16 LDX80 cameras and up to four 8-channel SloMo servers. The truck is equipped with Ross Carbonite Black HDTV Vision mixer, Lawo Mc2 56 Mark II audio console, 5.1 Dolby Digital audio system, Imagine Platinum routing system, Tvlogic monitoring solution, fully digital Riedel intercom and Lawo VSM Virtual Studio Manager for configurations.

TVC and TCI International (Part of SPX Corp.) has yet again partnered to deliver multiple mobile spectrum monitoring stations (SMS) to spectrum regulatory authorities of Trinidad and Tobago, Ghana and Malawi. In total five SMS stations constructed on Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter were delivered in record 45 days period to meet the end of year deadline.

UEFA has announced that TVE and TV3 have been awarded the remaining package of media rights to the UEFA Champions League 2012-15 in Spain. These deals conclude the sale of media rights in Spain following the recent award of pay television media rights to Digital+ in respect of the UEFA Champions League.

Riedel Communications' Artist digital matrix intercom system is enabling TVI Portugal to take on sophisticated communications in support of its national news, sports, and entertainment programming. Easily managed by a small team at TVI, the new Artist system has been installed as part of a facility-wide modernization program and operates seamlessly with an existing conference system to allow for communications across three fiber-connected studios on site and via IFB connections to different external locations.
