SMG operates 14 television channels and 11 radio stations serving the Shanghai megalopolis, bringing diverse programming, sports and news to an audience of 1.6 billion. The dual Touchmix Combo systems will be installed in five television production studios as backup solutions for each studio’s main audio consoles, taking the capabilities of the Touchmix to the next level.

TSL, leading systems integrator for the broadcast industry has begun systems integration work to upgrade and relocate IMG's UK media facility, to enable the provision of full HD services, production and distribution from a new site in Stockley Park, near London.

TSL has re-organised its business into two distinct entities namely, TSL (Television Systems Limited) Systems Integrator for the broadcast industry and, TSL Professional Products Ltd., leading manufacturer of audio monitoring, tally systems and power management solutions.

As part of its move to MediaCityUK, Salford Quays, BBC Sport is standardising on the new AVM-T-Mix audio management and monitoring unit from TSL. Touchmix, as the device is known, was originally developed in response to a bespoke requirement from BBC Sport and Dega Broadcast Systems, the systems integrator for this part of the Salford Quays project. The initial order is for in excess of 80 Touchmixes.

TSL Systems will announce expansion of their fibre and structured cabling service at IBC2016 (stand 10.B41), covering planning, design and installation of WLAN, cabling, fibre and CCTV. The company, which celebrated its 30^th birthday at the end of July, says the service has been designed to fit perfectly with its existing offerings of consultancy, system design, installation and support.
