Lighting designer Tom Campbell is using an Avolites Tiger Touch II for the entire run of Australian progressive rock band Karnivool's European tour - and has recently upgraded to the new operating system Titan V9.

The Optical Devices Division of FUJIFILM has appointed Tom Fletcher as Director of Sales. In his new role, Fletcher will oversee sales and promotion of broadcast and cinema lenses in North America. Working under the guidance of division Vice President Gordon Tubbs, Fletcher will lead the sales efforts of six regional managers in North America. Fletcher’s position is effective immediately.

Lighting designer, Tom Kenny chose Ayrton Khamsin-S profiles as key lights in his design for this year’s iHeartCountry Festival, presented by Capital One, which was live streamed globally and broadcast on iHeartMedia’s country radio stations on 23 October. Bandit Lites supplied 24 of Ayrton’s Khamsin-S fixtures for this 7th annual celebration of country music which was rescheduled from its original slot in May at the Frank Erwin Centre in Austin, Texas, and relocated to The Steel Mill in Nashville, Tennessee.
 

International Lighting Designer Tom Kenny specified Robe’s latest Pointe moving lights for the 2013 MTV Upfront presentation, staged at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. This was the first ‘live’ use of the newly launched Pointe in the US.

For the seventh year in a row, the biggest stars of country music performed in a celebration of all things country at the 2020 iHeartCountry Festival presented by Capital One®. Taking place at the Steel Mill with a lighting rig supplied by Bandit Lites, the main stage was hosted by Bobby Bones and featured performances by Dierks Bentley, Lady A, Sam Hunt, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Dustin Lynch, Jon Pardi, Riley Green, Morgan Evans, Gabby Barrett, and special guest Bobby Bones.

The MTV Europe Music Awards delivered another spectacular production November 6th at the Ahoy Rotterdam Arena in The Netherlands, where Europe’s favorite artists were honored and a star-studded line up of today’s hottest acts performed on a massive stage lit by top lighting designer Tom Kenny.

This year Kenny had an immense and extremely artful set to light designed by Julio Himende. Included in the correspondingly large visual package was Elation Professional ACL 360 Matrix™ LED moving head panels, which Kenny employed throughout the show.
