From 11 to 14 April the manufacturer-independent VSM intercom control and further VSM innovations are displayed at booth N4920 in the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition the US American manufacturer PESA shows the new VSM control of its Cheetah routers for the first time. The VSM is the manufacturer-independent superior control system manufactured by L-S-B. On the basis of an IP network structure, the VSM allows all production and broadcast-related devices to be controlled and monitored using a freely configurable user interface.

SIS LIVE, Europe’s largest outside broadcast (OB) and uplink supplier, has won the prestigious contract to design, build and deliver High Definition (HD) agile cameras and digital RF microwave links for the 34th America’s Cup. The multi-million pound contract will see SIS LIVE supply the on-board camera systems over a three-year period to the America’s Cup Event Authority (ACEA).

Premier New Zealand-based facility, Park Road Post Production has purchased another four SGO Mistika 4K systems, including a Mistika Software License Agreement for the Weta Group, to enhance its existing Mistika-centric stereoscopic 3D production pipeline and meet the high demands for their upcoming work in stereo 3D. This significant investment quickly follows the recent purchase of two Mistika 4K systems last September, with the facility now hosting a total number of six powerful Mistika 4K workstations. Mistika now forms the nucleus of Park Road's stereo 3D infrastructure, placing Mistika at the heart of their stereo 3D workflow.
