To date, as Sales Director Pro Audio Export, Klaus Seitz has been responsible for the Pro Sound segment (Electro-Voice, DYNACORD) in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), whilst Kamil Swobodzinski has been responsible for the marketing of broadcast and intercom equipment (RTS, TELEX) in the same three regions.

VSN Signs Distribution Agreement with Bolivian Company SEST

Last April, VSN signed a commercial agreement with the Bolivian company SEST (Systems, Equipment and Technology Solutions) to distribute its automation and digitization solutions for TV channels in this Latin American country. With the broadcast sector in Bolivia currently making the digital technology transition, both companies hope to undertake a commercial adventure together to cater for the needs of the different Bolivian TV channels.

For the first time ever in international media coverage, there is going to be a live broadcast in 5.1 real audio and revolutionary 3D stereoscopy. A large team of technicians, scenography designers, lighting crews, engineers, media experts and TV producers are working together in this nonprofitable experience, held in Zaragoza, Spain, on June 10th at 10pm. Legendary Hip Hop band Violadores del Verso will be generously taking part, mixing rhythms and rimes in their last concert of their successful Vivir para Contarlo Spain tour.

wTVision provided graphics solutions to 4 regional channels, in Spain, for the May 22 electoral night. TV Galicia, Barcelona TV and Televisión del Principado de Asturias presented their viewers special elections programs, during more than 4 hours, with a broad range of interactive graphics in full screen, tickers and augmented reality functionalities, which came into fruition through a partnership between these broadcasters and the Portuguese software-house, besides the full integration with the official sources which feed the system with real-time results, something that all projects had in common. For 8TV, wTVision developed a more economic solution to display results during the electoral program.

Feel Your Heart Beat: the show followed on TV screens by an audience of around 120 million people on 14 May was one of superlatives. The competitors from 25 countries pulled out all the stops to try and win the 56th Eurovision Song Contest. With great technical efforts, German broadcaster NDR (Norddeutscher Rundfunk) had transformed the Düsseldorf football stadium into a gigantic TV studio for around 36,000 viewers on behalf of the hosting broadcasting association ARD. And, for the 24th time, the event organisers relied on Sennheiser for the artists’ microphones and monitor systems.

Lighting designer Rob Mills used a grandMA2 light as his control platform for a recent production of Verdi's "Aida" at the Epsom Playhouse in Surrey, UK. The week long production by Riverside Opera was directed by James Hurley who is a regular client of Mills, a busy theatre and opera LD, who also lights corporate and live events.
