Brainstorm, leading manufacturer of real-time 3D graphics and virtual studio solutions, along with never.no, leaders in live social media management, moderation and publishing, announce the NAB launch of OnMedia, a unique end-to-end solution for managing virtual and augmented reality 3D graphics based on social media feeds. OnMedia is one of the developments resulting from Brainstorm and never.no’s partnership as leaders of Project VisualMedia in the Europe 2020 Horizon framework programme. The project is funded by the European Commission, as a response to the needs of creative industries in the broadcast media sector.

Bradley Engineering, the designer of specialist and remote controlled cameras, has been working jointly with AltaSens Inc. to create a design for a new 4K camera module for the next generation of remote sensing cameras, the two companies will show the design to visitors at IBC.

The Westside Theatre, one of the last remaining commercial Off-Broadway spaces left in New York City, has had an impressive lineup of productions on its marquee over the years, including a 12-year run of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, a show that lighting designer Bradley King remembers seeing as a kid. King, known for his work on Natasha, Pierre, & The Great Comet of 1812 and Hadestown, for which he won Tony and Drama Desk Awards for lighting in 2017 and 2019 respectively, was back at Westside last fall, this time designing the lighting for the highly anticipated return to Off-Broadway of Little Shop of Horrors.
 

Bradley Engineering, the designer of specialist and remote controlled cameras, will present two new developments at IBC2014 this year. The first is ELKAM, a brand new mini High Definition camera suitable for goalposts and nest boxes, and the second is the RD12 camera-back receiver which will be demonstrated providing full CCU control for a Sony camera

British manufacturer Bradley Engineering will be showing a set of newly-developed camera heads and accessories for unobtrusive and remote controlled filming at NAB this year. This equipment is built for professional broadcasters and includes remote controlled camera heads with 30x zoom, cameras with 4 MegaPixel imaging, and connectivity products to operate cameras over IP networks.

Bradley Engineering is proud to be showing some of the very first miniature remote camera heads with 30 : 1 zoom at IBC this year. The company’s miniature rotating Cam-Ball camera has taken a great step forward and the latest version has 30 x zoom lenses and a new high resolution sensor with increased low light sensitivity. It will capture even greater detail, and provide High Definition broadcast images up to 1080p.

For his 35-show “Weekend Warrior” tour, country singer and guitarist extraordinaire Brad Paisley is traveling with a complete JBL by HARMAN VTX V25-II audio system supplied by Sound Image.
 
The tour, which started May and ran through September, covers amphitheaters from coast to coast and included a quick jaunt to Sweden and Norway for three shows in July. Kevin Freeman, Paisley’s FOH engineer for the last 18 years, has been using JBL gear for a long time and was an early adopter of the VTX V25 system.

NEP Visions’ Bracknell premises and OB fleet suffered damage in a major fire on the night of 3 November 2015. The NEP Visions team is in close communication with its clients to ensure that forthcoming shows and events continue without disruption, and will be working with other divisions of the NEP Group to draw on additional resources. No staff members were injured in the fire. NEP Visions is very grateful for all the messages of support it has received from clients, partners, competitors and the wider broadcast industry.

Modernization of the KSC3 control system was part of the router and equipment upgrade the Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR), the Bavarian public broadcasting authority for the German State of Bavaria, has implemented at its Unterföhring studio.
