STB Installs Riedel Artist & Acrobat Intercom

The Ukrainian broadcast provider STB Ukraine, one of the largest Ukrainian broadcast networks, equipped its ten camera HD OB truck with a communications installation from Riedel Communications. Riedel renowned for leading intercom, fiber, audio and radio technology installed a communications system combining wired Artist digital matrix intercom with wireless Acrobat intercom technology. Responsible for the installation was the systems integrator TVC, UAB Televizijos ir ryšio sistemos, Šiauliai, Lithuania.

Basketball Triumph with NEXUS

A huge victory for German Basketball superstar Dirk Nowitzki and his Dallas Mavericks team. On June 12th the Mavericks won the NBA finals against arch rivals Miami Heat. Three of the six finals were fought out at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas where they were broadcast using the finest German audio technology. Host broadcaster ESPN used a large NEXUS network for this very special occasion.

Vision Gemni 1&2 was on location in Wimbledon to cover the men's semifinals and the women's and men's finals in 3D while Cinevideogroup OB14 was working together with Euro Media France to shoot Shakira in 3D. Shakira performed on 14th June at the Palais Omnisport in Bercy.
