Blackmagic Design today announced Groundriddim used Blackmagic Design’s ATEM 1 M/E Production Switcher and ATEM 1 M/E Broadcast Panel for live switching of their recent  VJ performance at the NO NUKES 2012 Music Festival, held in Chiba City in early July.

For broadcasters of world-class major sporting events or music concerts, a single SoundField mic is all that's needed to generate simultaneous stereo and 5.1 audio for SD or HD transmission. Even audio already captured in stereo, such as recorded archive material, can now be converted into phase-coherent 5.1 by utilising SoundField upmix processors.

Working to focus the spotlight on the true artistry of hip hop, curator and artist herself, Miz Metro has combined visual works of art with classic rap tracks and remixes in her gallery, The Art of Rap: Remixed and Mastered.  Inspired by the Ice-T documentary, The Art of Rap, the New York City gallery features hip hop centric graffiti art and photos by renowned artists Shirt King Phade, Jamel Shabazz and Ryan Keeley. Fuzz’Yon is a 300-capacity live music venue, which has been operating since 1986 in the French town of La Roche-sur-Yon. Starting out as a haven for rock bands, since 1998 it has diversified into dance genres, such as rap, trip-hop, electro and dub, as well as pop, soul and folk. One of the most intimate live clubs still functioning, Fuzz’Yon recently upgraded its aging sound desks, and after careful evaluation chose a HARMAN Soundcraft Vi6 digital console for FOH and a Vi4 for stage monitoring.

A parallel 3D + 2D set-up will be presented by STEREOTEC and CHROSZIEL at the Chrosziel booth. The system allows to capture 3D and 2D content simultaneously with one camera system - operated by only one camera operator.

The first presence of BTS broadcast technology solutions at IBC 2012 was an overwhelming success. Hundreds of potential clients visited the OB van exhibited at IBC and were impressed by the skills of the BTS staff and the advanced technologies inside the van. It was the record breaking OB van number 555 since the re-start of the company in 1951.

Robe moving lights were again at the hub of the lighting action for a Main Stage design by Johan Ferreira from JSF Productions at the popular 2012 Innibos Festival in South Africa.
