EVS, a leading provider of broadcast and media production systems for sports, news and TV entertainment, has announced that Japanese television production company Kyodo Television has invested in EVS production systems. Kyodo Television has chosen to equip its new KR-advance 3G HD outside broadcast (OB) van with four EVS XT3 production servers. The state-of-the-art OB van was used for the production of major sports events in Japan, including the Tokyo Sevens rugby tournament, J League and FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup football, and the Oaks and Derby horse races.
