Ross Makes Georgian Election Coverage a Reality
To cover the groundbreaking elections in October, Georgian Public Broadcaster - the national public broadcaster - installed a virtual studio with augmented reality graphics. To make their production a reality, GPB used Ross Video, a solutions provider for augmented reality and virtual sets. The Ross solution includes a CrossOver Compact Production Switcher, openGear Terminal Equipment, Furio Robotic Camera System, and XPression Real-Time Motion Graphics combined with UnReel’s Xperience UX Software. Ross partner, Dutchview Prographics, developed the election graphics and helped with the implementation.

F1 Indian Grand Prix Broadcast Live with Blackmagic Design
Blackmagic Design today announced BP Satellite Solutions is providing RF camera services to broadcasters televising the FIA Formula One World Championship using Blackmagic broadcast infrastructure products, including the Compact Videohub and Videohub Smart Control. Commentary teams from TV Globo, RTL Germany, ZDF Sport, VIASAT (Sweden, Denmark and Norway) and MTV3 Finland are using the solution to present wirelessly from the F1 paddock, pitlane and starting grid.

A part of Saga Film, Iceland’s largest production house, Luxor’s talented team captures and edits more than 2,500 hours of content per year for everything from TV programs and films to live concerts and events. Soundcraft in Total Control at Sunflower Jam
Sunflower Jam is the brainchild of Jacky Paice, wife of Deep Purple drummer, Ian Paice, and was founded to raise money for underprivileged and sick children via the medium of live music. For this year’s event, SSE Audio Group deployed HARMAN’s Soundcraft Vi6 consoles for FOH and monitors respectively, each utilising 64 inputs, while the latest Soundcraft console offering, the Si Performer, received its live show debut. Connected digitally via MADI to the Vi6 at FOH, the Si Performer controlled all narrator mics and interval music.
