Continuing to garner accolades for its mobile production excellence, TNDV: Television has once again been honored with multiple Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards by the Nashville/Midsouth Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Nashville-based mobile production specialist TNDV recently gave back to its community on a project that hit close to home, delivering turnkey production services for country music superstar Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountains Rise telethon to aid families affected by the Great Smoky Mountain wildfires that began in late November. Working within an extraordinarily short timeline, TNDV provided production and uplink trucks, equipment, crews and expertise while managing all key video, audio and lighting elements for the live television event.
This month, as it has for the past decade, mobile production specialist TNDV provided on-site broadcast production for in-house projection and Web streaming feeds for the 2015 annual International Collegiate Barbershop Quartet Contest, hosted by the Barbershop Harmony Society. This year’s competition, which took place Saturday, July 4 at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, was webcast live on the society’s website for viewers worldwide, and projected live in the arena for fans, competitors and judges in attendance.
Known as the world’s premiere colt starting competition, the Road to the Horse (RTTH) 2017—which was held this spring at Horse Park’s Alltech Arena in Lexington, KY—featured a “Celebration of the Cowgirl,” as talented female clinicians competed to tame, saddle and ride a wild colt in record time. The annual three-day event drew thousands of horse-loving spectators, as well as a global online audience that watched the live webcast on Road to the Horse TV.
With a requirement for subtle audio reinforcement to complement the spectacular venue’s natural acoustic, Wolkenturm’s Head of Sound Andreas Dröscher turned to TiMax for the panoramic realism created by its source-oriented reinforcement (SOR) spatial amplification techniques.
