The garrison town of Leopoldsburg in Belgium was a perfect setting for the large scale promenade theatrical spectacle ‘De Groote Rappel’, directed by Luc Stevens and featuring a large community cast from the city telling the story of two world wars, with the final act played out in a quadrangle in front of a prominent army barracks.

dbn Lighting provided full illumination for the 2015 Manchester City Centre festive lights switch on, getting the pre-Christmas party in the north-west off to a rocking start. The event was hosted by popular local radio station Key 103’s Debbie Mac with iconic long-running soap Coronation Street stars Kym Marsh and Catherine Tyldesley. Record crowds – estimated at around 20,000 - were entertained by Scouting for Girls and Lemar, the casts of Cinderella and The Sound of Music, both currently playing in the city, together with a local choir.

With more than a third of the world’s population on lockdown as countries implement measures to slow the spread of Covid-19, priorities are being thrown into sharp focus. In Windhoek, Namibia, technical production and rental company dB Audio’s first concern was to ensure that its staff would be safe and well during the lockdown period which started on 27th March and was extended to May 4th by President Hage Geingob.

The Shed’s executive team joined elected officials and artists to celebrate the opening of New York’s new arts center during a dedication ceremony just days before the space opened to the public on April 5. Located on West 30th Street between 10th and 11th Avenue, The Shed is commissioning and presenting new work from artists working in all genres, including Steve McQueen, Steve Reich, Trisha Donnelly, Anne Carson, Ben Whishaw, Renée Fleming and Björk, among others.
