The Neue Philharmonie Berlin is touring Germany with a sophisticated cross-over programme featuring Latin, jazz and classical music supported by Stage Tec, the Berlin-based manufacturer. An orchestra of 65 classical musicians, jazz musicians and Latin percussionists plays the Latin-Jazz Sinfónica! People, in conjunction with Barrett Evolution, extended their extensive networking capability to include HD-SDI video and MADI over IP in support of the Australia Day 2018 celebrations on Sydney Harbour. Canada's Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity has deployed Riedel Communications' MediorNet real-time media network to interconnect the Centre's theatres, recital halls, recording studios, and production facilities. Supplied and installed by Canadian distributer BSE, the integrated and decentralized signal transport network consists of five MediorNet Compact PRO 50G media distribution frames.

“Magical Dresden – having a ball.” This was the motto of the 13th Semper Opera Ball. 2,500 guests inside the opera house and several thousand visitors on the Theater Square attended this social event which took place on January 26, 2018. An extensive stage program, prominent guests and many visitors to the ball made the event an unforgettable experience. The Central German Broadcasting Company, MDR, broadcast the ball featuring an action-packed program live on television.

The Danuta Baduszkowa Musical Theatre in Gdynia, Poland, has featured an extensive NEXUS routing network for some time. In cooperation with its Polish partner Konsbud Audio, Stage Tec, the Berlin-based manufacturer of digital audio equipment, has now continued this project – a CRESCENDO platinum with 32 faders has been installed as the heart of the sound control room. In addition, the NEXUS network was upgraded with four powerful RMDQ DSP boards, bringing it up to the latest standards.
