Stage Tec converter digitizes historical Berlin Philharmonic recordings
The NEXUS XMIC+ A/D converter from the Berlin-based manufacturer Stage Tec has been used to digitize historical radio recordings of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. The recordings were made between 1939 and 1945 and conducted by Wilhelm Furtwängler. The concerts were to be digitally sampled as faithfully as possible to the original in the highest audio quality and post-processed and remastered in 24-bit resolution.
Stage Tec connects the Greek National Opera and the National Library of Greece
In cooperation with its Greek distribution partner Telmaco, Stage Tec has completed a fascinating project at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) in Greece. The Centre is a multi-purpose complex in Athens built for art, education and entertainment. It is home to the Greek National Opera House (GNO) and the National Library of Greece (NLG), surrounded by the 210.000m2 Stavros Niarchos Park.

The Staatsschauspiel Dresden in Germany joins a long and growing number of high-profile performing arts venues that are investing in Robe’s T1 series of moving lights, a refined product line tailored to meet the exacting demands of this sector. The Staatsschauspiel Dresden runs two venues – The Schauspielhaus in the old town with 788 seats and the Kleines Haus in the Neustadt area which offers three halls with 400, 150 and 99 capacities respectively plus the Kleines Haus Mitte which can accommodate up to 60 people. The main focus is on theatrical performance, but the vibrant program – in a standard year – will also feature music, dance, concerts and spoken word performances.
