Expect plenty of excitement at ExCeL when the Taekwondo competitors take to the court at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Just three weeks after the end of the annual grand slam tournament, Wimbledon will once again welcome the best players in the world for the London 2012 Tennis competition.

A triathlon is a multi-sport event involving the completion of three continuous and sequential endurance events. While many variations of the sport exist, triathlon, in its most popular form, involves swimming, cycling, and running in immediate succession over various distances. Triathletes compete for fastest overall course completion time, including timed "transitions" between the individual swim, bike, and run components.

Volleyball made its Olympic debut at the Tokyo 1964 Games for both men and women. At Beijing 2008, the gold medals were won by the USA (men) and Brazil (women).

Water Polo developed during the 19th century as an aquatic version of rugby, played informally in rivers and lakes. The version of the game that survives today is closer to Handball: a fast, tough and demanding sport, it has featured on every Olympic programme since the Paris 1900 Games. Women’s Water Polo was introduced at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

Weightlifting will showcase a test of pure strength – the oldest and most basic form of physical competition. At the London Olympics weightlifting is staged at the ExCel exhibition centre.

Recognised as one of the world’s oldest sports, Wrestling was first held at the ancient Olympics in 708 BC, and Greco-Roman Wrestling was included at the Athens 1896 Games, the first of the modern era. Played out on a circular mat, the sport is a battle of nerves, strength and skill, and should provide plenty of drama at ExCeL during London 2012.

Moving to a new, modernized stadium is not a straightforward undertaking, as anyone who’s ever made this move will tell you. The only thing that’s more complicated may just be staying in an old one. Ever since the Olympique Lyonnais club was officially established in 1950, its home was the playing field of Stade de Gerland, which is now more than 100 years old. Rich in historic architecture, the stadium had to undergo multiple incarnations to accommodate various seating formations and FIFA regulations. Through periods of construction and renovation, it ultimately reached a maximum capacity of 43,000.

On 24 December 2009 ANO Sports Broadcasting (Panorama) was founded as an autonomous non-profit organisation by OJSC Channel One, FGUP VGTRK, OJSC NTV-PLUS and the RIA Novosti news agency with the mission to provide a national HDTV signal of the XXII Winter Olympic Games and the XI Winter Paralympic Games in Sochi in 2014, as well as an international HDTV signal of the XXVII World Summer University Games in Kazan in 2013.

The 2012 Tour de France is the 99th edition. It began in the city of Liège in Belgium on 30 June, and is scheduled to end on the Champs-Elysées in Paris on 22 July. Besides Belgium and France, the Tour will also pass through Switzerland. The route features a total of 101.1 km covered in individual time trials and only three uphill finishes: La Planche des Belles Filles (stage 7), La Toussuire - Les Sybelles (stage 11) and Peyragudes (stage 17).

ORF is the national broadcaster of Austria. Established in 1955, the television and radio broadcaster transmits across the country. With a strong focus on news, the broadcaster operated a series of small outside broadcast (OB) vans, mainly with audio programming capabilities, to deliver news from across the country. However, after over a decade in use, there was a strong need to update these vehicles and in doing so incorporate audio and video capabilities, as well as online newsgathering features. The new vans would incorporate internet, video, and radio production and IP-based streaming.

Over the last four years, Pac-12 Networks has developed this model of broadcasting and is now inspiring others to do the same – in fact, its model is the inspiration to many of the industry’s big-hitters, with the likes of ESPN, Sky Sports, Time Warner Cable and Fox Sports looking at Pac-12’s infrastructure to help them become more efficient.

The 2019 Roland-Garros tournament took place between 26 May and 09 June. The event welcomed 520,000 spectators and was
broadcast on the channel France TV with 12x AK-UC4000 4K studio cameras.

TOKYO BROADCASTING SYSTEM TELEVISION, INC. (TBS) introduced the Multi-Format Camera AK-HC3500 to its drama recording studios, “M1 Studio” and “M2 Studio” in Midoriyama Studio.

During his "Berlin Calling Tour" Paul Kalkbrenner performed on 17 April 2010 in the Jahrhunder Halle in Frankfurt. Pfadfinderei, an internationally renowned design collective, was responsible for the visualization of Kalkbrenners performance on the stage. For the lighting effects Max Schöntag was in charge. A team of cameramen around Max Penzel recorded the event in High Definition.
