After the two DFB cup matches on 26 and 27 October Sportcast produced another 3D Bundesliga match on 27 November in Berlin.

The Guild of Television Cameramen reports very high demand for its 3D workshop: 3D - the Emerging Picture. Originally planned as a single-day event, the workshop has since been rescheduled for 7, 10 and 13 December at Sony's 3D Experience facility in Basingstoke.

Broadcast television cameraman John Gillan of JG Broadcast has completed a month of 3D shooting in California for UK-based production company Electric Sky. The project involved capturing motocross, jet skiing, BMX biking, rock-climbing, skate-boarding and other extreme action sports for 10 one-hour programmes. These will be transmitted on the US Discovery 3D channel, a partnership venture between Discovery Communications, IMAX and Sony which will be the first US channel to broadcast 24/7 3D television content.

BT has entered into an agreement with NBC Universal International Television Distribution for the video-on-demand rights in the UK to all the 3D movie titles the studio will release over the next 12 months.
