Red Digital Cinema Launches Next Generation DSMC3 Camera System With New V-Raptor 8K VV
RED DIGITAL CINEMA® unveiled the new V-RAPTOR 8K VV camera today, launching its first entrant into the next generation DSMC3 platform. Building on RED’s bold dedication to advancing image quality, the camera is RED’s most powerful to date. It features the highest dynamic range, fastest cinema-quality sensor scan time, cleanest shadows, and highest frame rates of any camera in RED’s lineup. Grass Valley and Telos Alliance Partners Bring Integrated Intercom to Cloud Production
In partnership with the Telos Alliance, Grass Valley is releasing Telos Infinity® VIP (Virtual Intercom Platform) on GV AMPP (Agile Media Processing Platform), a professional intercom solution for cloud-based media production workflows. Infinity VIP on AMPP supports essential intercom functionality that is already well known to production professionals, including partylines, IFBs, groups and peer-to-peer communication. This new cloud-based production functionality is being beta-tested by All Mobile Video (AMV) and will be live with an AMV customer later in the year.

Cinevideo 4K 12G OB Van uses Lawo VSM for overall broadcast control projected by Italian system integrator ARET
Cinevideo’s newest OB van, a 20-camera 4K OB Van, based on 12G SDI technology, uses Lawo’s VSM Broadcast Control System for overall management and operation in combination with a set of software and hardware panels as well as several GPIO units. Project management, installation and commissioning was carried out by ARET Video and Audio Engineering, who for years has been a trusted system integrator for Cinevideo projects, a serial user of VSM broadcast control.

Elation broadcast lighting for Imagen Televisión Olympic Games studio
Much of the world tuned in July 23 to August 8 to watch The Games of the XXXII Olympiad play out in Tokyo, Japan. In Mexico, National television network Imagen Televisión acquired a package of Elation broadcast-optimized lighting and employed the gear in a contemporary studio in Mexico City where coverage of the Tokyo Summer Olympics took place.
