NAB Show Attendance Up and 3D Everywhere
The National Association of Broadcasters today released its attendance figures for the 2010 NAB Show:
• TOTAL REGISTERED ATTENDEES: 88,044
• INTERNATIONAL ATTENDEES: 23,900
• COUNTRIES REPRESENTED: 156
• NEWS MEDIA ATTENDEES: 1,153
• THE 2009 NAB SHOW ATTENDANCE WAS: 82,650
"Content professionals from across the globe turned out in force at the NAB Show, and we're delighted by the extraordinarily positive feedback from both attendees and exhibitors," said NAB Executive Vice President Dennis Wharton. "The uptick in attendance and dazzling technology on display here in Las Vegas demonstrates again the NAB Show's enduring popularity and status as the premiere global event for the content marketplace."
In addition to the Exhibits in the 3D Pavillion and the NAB Show Opening Keynote on 3D by Sony Excecutive Hiroshi Yosioka (expanding on Sony's "lens to the living room" vision for 3D, Yoshioka presented exclusive 3D footage including clips from the Masters Golf Tournament and other sports and entertainment events) 3D products were on the show floor with any of the established equipment suppliers.

The action on the pitch will be captured with seven pairs of Sony's professional HDC-1500 cameras
