W E Audio adds substantial Martin Audio Inventory to meet increasing demand

.

Oxford-based W E Audio has recently extended its inventory of MLA Compact and MLA Mini to meet the rising demand for this multiple awarding winning series across open air/festival applications, whilst increasing their system capabilities for large touring purposes.

W E Audio was the first rental partner in the UK to invest in MLA Compact back in 2013, and their most recent investment has included another 12 MLA Compact, bringing their stock to a total of 36  elements. In addition, the recent purchase also included four more DSX-F Flying double 18” subs and four MLX Hybrid double 18” subs that will be used as ultra-sub extension and support dry hire market demands.

Furthermore, the order extended to an additional six MLA Mini enclosures, taking their stock to eight complete systems. This comprises a total of 32 MLA Mini elements and eight MLX single 15”subs. Finally, 12 DD6s, that are gaining a strong reputation for their excellent coverage and powerful punchy sound from such a small box, were also added to W E Audio’s inventory, to support their corporate sector business.

W E Audio’s experienced MD, Wayne Barker, has long favoured new technology adoption, and this comprehensive additional inventory continues to keep that reputation intact.  “We specialise in providing site public address and noise abatement so we knew that having such a leading system would open up a lot of doors for us, and this has proven to be the case.”

After debuting their MLA Compact system as part of a dry hire solution for Hyde Park in 2013 it has gone on to reinforce many shows and events in its own right, including Summer Pops at Buxton Opera House, Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, Bournemouth Air Festival, The London Marathon and most recently a UK & European tour with Rumer that featured both MLA Compact and MLA Mini.  For that tour, Mike Timms FOH engineer, said, "We received first class service from W E Audio for the Rumer UK tour, with some tricky venues handled very nicely by their Martin Audio MLA systems.”

As W E Audio Co Director, Rylan Machin, commented, “This investment is vital to round out our offering for larger venues, events and tours to include outfill, infill and, on stage as side fills. Equally, our ability now to meet second stage requirements, alongside the demand of an ever increasing number of conference and corporate events that we supply, gives us added flexibility and revenue opportunity.”
