Two FIS Ski World Championships in Three Weeks

The Alpine Skiing World Championships accommodated LMC to spark the TV audience with thrilling analysis.

LMC supplied various touch screen analysis systems as well as the Dartfish technolgy.All systems were operated out of a mobile production vehicle at the Kandahar compound.The Gudiberg production was “remote-controlled” using a fibre-optics link.

Fog and dark weather conditions create headaches for both organizers and TV stations.Antelope would rather like to splurge with brilliant colours and iridescent images, but on the first day the LMC exclusive system had to prove that it can cope with low light levels and diffuse conditions.

NRK will also use an Antelope system during the upcoming Biathlon WC in Oslo where a stripped down system will be mounted to a sled right in front of the targets.
