Stadia Experience Tour

The 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Local Organising Committee (LOC) will carry out from Monday, May 26, the Stadia Experience Tour. Media representatives will have the chance to see what fans and journalists will experience during the FIFA World Cup, going through the areas used by the supporters and simulating situations which may occur inside the arenas.

Of all six 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup stadia already tested, the tour will only visit Maracana in Rio, to demonstrate what has changed from the operation in last year’s tournament. As the tour in Rio will reproduce what will happen in the other five FIFA Confederations Cup Host Cities (Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Fortaleza, Recife and Salvador) media representatives from these cities will have the chance to send questions by e-mail to the press conference which will take place at Maracana.

We take this opportunity to remind you that the Stadia Experience Tour is also a photo and footage opportunity inside the arenas as access to the 12 stadia will be limited due to the preparation underway for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

In the other six Host Cities the tour will take place between May 30 to June 6 as shown in the calendar below.

26/5 – 10:30 – Rio de Janeiro
30/5 – 13:00 – Manaus
2/6 – 9:30 – Cuiaba
3/6 – 13:00 – Natal
4/6 – 14:00 – Sao Paulo
5/6 – 14:00 – Curitiba
6/6 – 14:00 – Porto Alegre

Media representatives wishing to cover the event should confirm their presence no later than the day before the tour comes to the respective Host City through [email protected]. The meeting point will be confirmed by e-mail the day before the tour. Since the event takes place under the exclusive period there will be no media parking inside the stadia.
