SportelRIO 2012 Exceeds All Expectations

The first SPORTELRio was hosted in the Sofitel Copacabana and the venue was packed as 566 participants, 312 companies of a total of 48 nations have registered to do business together, making this event one of the most successful SPORTEL markets outside Monaco.

“SPORTEL is fortunate to have so many loyal participants and exhibitors return and also support the cross continental markets, but I am extremely pleased with the increase in variety of new attendees.” SPORTELRio welcomes all new partners such as the CBDG Brazilian Ice Sports Federation, SPORT TIME EXTREME, VSN, ANTENA LATINA, PRONAMEZ or HEGO.

Also, SPORTEL attendees could participate to panels about prospects for brazilian market and enjoyed the presence of the soccer star Ronaldinho and the Legendary Brazilian Boxer Acelino "Popo" Freitas.

Throughout the market exhibitors and visitors alike have praised the high quality of the market and business realized during the past days. All participants spoke of a “great vibe” throughout the show and have asked if SPORTEL will return in 2013.
