NETCOSPORTS launches its new solution to enrich the broadcasted contents of boxing shows with real-time data

NETCOSPORTS implements its new solution dedicated to broadcasters and partners with CANAL+, EUROMEDIA and PIQ to enhance subscribers’ experience with performance data

On the 1st July, CANAL+ organizes a boxing event in Evian-Les-Bains in coordination with UNIVENT BOXE. After a successful live test on June 2 for the boxing show « La Conquête », NETCOSPORTS partners again with EUROMEDIA, subsidiary from the same group, and PIQ to officially integrates its solution for the first time. Two matches are broadcasted using the new data-sync & integration service developed by NETCO: Diallo vs Donfack and Goulamirian vs Williams.

Boxers are followed during their fights thanks to PIQ’s sensors placed in their gloves. These sensors record in real time the blows as well as the speed and the power of the strikes, thanks to GAIA, the 1st Artificial Intelligence system for autonomous understanding of sporting gestures. NETCOSPORTS then synchronizes the recorded data thanks to its solution, synchronize them and integrates them into a graphical interface to make them understandable on screens. From the OB trucks, EUROMEDIA production teams then choose the best angles and data to display during replays and push them on CANAL+ subscribers’ screens.

The solution developed by NETCOSPORTS allows a nearly instantaneous integration and provides maximum reactivity for the teams to enrich displayed contents. According to Matthieu SKRZYPNIAK, CTO Innovations at NETCOSPORTS, « viewers are more and more connected and eager about unpublished information.
