Media rights deal for UEFA EURO 2012™ announced in Italy

RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana awarded exclusive media rights for UEFA EURO 2012™

UEFA announced yesterday that it has reached an exclusive agreement with RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana for the broadcasting rights to all 31 matches of UEFA EURO 2012™ in Italy.

RAI will cover the matches live across its channels RAI Uno and RAI Due and will complement its live broadcast offering with a package of dedicated magazine and highlights programmes, guaranteeing extensive free TV coverage of the tournament in Italy. In addition RAI will deliver comprehensive internet and mobile services on a live and on-demand basis.

RAI also acquired the media rights for the 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
