DVS Provides Ultra Motion Services at the Asian Cup
Both Asian Cup Qatar Broadcasters, Al-Jazeera and Al-Dawri&Al-Kass, plus Medialuso, as the International Signal technical service provider, chosed DVS to use 7x SuperloupeTM cameras.
DVS on-site team was composed of 16 people, to setup and to live operate each camera, with highly-experienced UltraMotion support/Video Shading engineers, all the required Superloupe cameraman & EVS Hypermotion operators. These last ones perfectly use the XT Server’ s Hypermotion control interface since the 2010 FIFA World Cup ; to remind this interface had been imagined and jointly developed by DVS & EVS in 2009.
SuperloupeTM systems were used to live broadcast ultra motion shots from major world sportings events, such as the FIFA World Cups, Olympic Games, Asian Games, Qatar-Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, Formula One Grand-Prix, Tour De France…
Founded in 1997 to answer a growing demand on a fast moving market, DVS becomes the only company in Europe specialized in Slow Motion systems for live TV sport events. The exclusive concept created by DVS involved for the first time a high speed slow motion camera, mounted with Broadcast lens and associated with digital servers and monitored from a dedicated Slow motion OB Van directly connected to the main central production OB Van. In May 2004, DVS comes up with an exclusive patented Slow Motion system called: SuperLoupe™. For the first time in TV Broadcast, images can be shot at more than 75 images per second. The SuperLoupe allows super high speed slow motion at 500 images per second. The last evolution of the SuperLoupe™ now offers slow motion in full HD from 500 to 1.000 images /sec associated with HD lens (1.800mm/x100).DVS
