JBL, Crown and Soundcraft Deployed for 2012 PRG Live Entertainment Awards

New flagship JBL VTX line array makes European debut at prestigious industry event

HARMAN Professional announced a collaboration with Production Resource Group (PRG), the world’s largest staging equipment supplier, to provide audio components for the prestigious Live Entertainment Awards taking place at Festhalle here March 20, 2012 in coordination with ProLight+Sound.

Comprising multiple Soundcraft Vi Series digital consoles, Crown’s new V-Racks with BSS Omnidrive HD signal processing and configuration and control via HARMAN Professional’s new workflow-based HiQnet Performance Manager™ software, this high-profile system deployment also serves as the European launch of JBL’s new flagship VTX line array series loaded with JBL’s revolutionary D2 compression driver to provide lower distortion and extended high-frequency response.

To technically support the system and provide onsite application information for end-users, HARMAN Professional product specialists from the company’s Crown, JBL and Soundcraft brands are onsite. Veteran live sound engineer Gert Sanner, having recently joined the HARMAN Professional team to work closely with professional system owners and operators throughout the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region is HARMAN’s audio engineer-in-charge for the LEA and subsequent activities at the PRG stage during the Prolight+Sound show, March 21-24.
