Bandit Illuminates Antiques And Garden Show Of Nashville
posted:
This year’s event theme centered on “Cultivated Style” and the idea that homes and gardens are reflections of collaborative journeys individuals make, and as their stories evolve, so do their styles at home.
Using an array of truss outfitted with par cans and lekos with varying lenses, the lighting focused on giving the exhibits an extra pop while still looking natural and unobtrusive. Using thoughtful planning, the result was a look that enhanced and enriched the exhibits without overpowering the organic beauty of the gardens and antiques.

“The overall idea is to light the gardens in a way to highlight certain features such as fountains, sculptures, structures, floral pieces, etc.,” said lighting designer Chris Lisle. “We try to light the garden as a whole in way that it appears to be outside on an afternoon by using certain color correction, gobos, and more to give them warmth and shadows, etc.”
Bandit’s crew for the event featured Andy Knighton, Ryan Waldron and Scott Wesson. Lisle praised his experience with Bandit saying “Bandit Lites is awesome as always! Great attention to detail and great to work with!”
