XL Events Scores ‘Hat Trick’ with Eventia Award for ‘Best Technical Supplier’

XL Events was delighted to receive the Gold Award for Technical Supplier Of The Year for the third consecutive year at the event industry’s biggest awards ceremony.

Held at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London, the Eventia Awards 2012 gathered together the biggest names in event production to celebrate another hugely successful year.

With the UK playing host to major events like the Olympic Games and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the competition for this year’s awards was fiercely contested.


XL Events Director Rich Rowley comments “We have had another interesting year, our market position was strengthened by a number of historic events such as the Queens Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics and through all those we continued to deliver the service for which XL is known to our existing clients.  More importantly our business has adapted to offer these clients multiple solutions.”

XL Events played a major role in the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee – providing projection onto Buckingham Palace as well as LED screens, cameras and monitoring for the concert.


2012 has also seen XL Events provide audio visual equipment and services for a wide range of other events both in the UK and abroad including the Premieres of Skyfall, Les Miserables and Total Recall; the Festival of Speed at Goodwood; the UK launch of the new Mercedes-Benz Actros truck; the Best Of Belron in Barcelona; the Nissan Leaf Driver Experience in Scandinavia; the L’Oreal Professional Colour Trophy; and the UK Launch of EE Live.
