Wohler Demonstrates iAM Series Updates for IP at NAB Show 2018

Reflecting the continued interest toward IP technology infrastructure in broadcast and media production facilities, Wohler Technologies, a leading manufacturer of video, audio and data monitoring solutions, will be demonstrating its latest product updates supporting SMPTE 2110 IP transport standards at NAB Show 2018 (Booth N3424). Wohler will be spotlighting its IP-capable iAM Series™ including the iAM-AUDIO-1 multichannel audio monitoring and metering device which will also feature new capabilities including Wohler’s Dolby® Zoom™ and updated audio loudness measurement tools.

The video-capable iAM-VIDEO-2 will also be sporting some powerful upgrades, including an easier to use touchscreen interface and support for 3G-SDI combined with MPEG-2 and H.264 / MPEG-4 AVC via either ASI or IP that enables a unique application for pre- and post-encoded signal monitoring within a slim 2RU rack-mounted form factor.

All Wohler iAM Series monitors incorporate powerful upgradable software components along with an onboard Web server to enable multiple devices sharing the same network to be updated, monitored and controlled via a browser-based user interface, as well as through API calls from third-party connected control devices. Wohler iAM IP-capable monitoring products are an ideal solution for any broadcast application requiring a compact unit capable of monitoring an increasing variety of audio/video parameters from a rapidly developing range of optional signal types.
