Vitec Videocom to Illustrate How to Keep Studio Production Costs Down

Vitec Videocom, a Vitec Group company, will host mini-seminar sessions at IBC2012 to demonstrate how innovative solutions can be used to reduce studio production costs.

Each 30-minute seminar, taking place during IBC2012 at the RAI in Amsterdam, will explain how new, innovative solutions in robotics, lighting and other areas can reduce production costs and benefit studio operations.

The mini-seminar, which is scheduled to take place four times during IBC2012, will examine specific areas within studio operations and illustrate how significant improvements in operational efficiency and cost management can be achieved. Camera supports, robotics, prompters and studio lighting will be covered.

The seminar will be introduced by Futuresource Consulting’s Adam Cox, who will illustrate the industry need to reduce costs in the studio as broadcasters endeavour to secure future investment.

The mini-seminar sessions will be held on the Vitec Videocom booth at IBC (Hall 11, Stand E55) and are free, but they will be limited in number and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
