Vitec Videocom Brands Demonstrate Best-in-Class Performance at BVE 2012

Vitec Videocom acts as an endorsing brand for the market-leading broadcast film and pro video products from renowned industry names including Anton/Bauer, Autoscript, Litepanels, OConnor, Petrol Bags, Sachtler, Vinten and Vinten Radamec. This year’s BVE event will see these sought-after brands display an extensive range of innovative products around the camera.

Anton/Bauer will demonstrate its latest array of power solutions, including the MATRIX Cheese Plate and Gold Mount® System, the DIONIC® HCX 124-watt-hour capacity battery, the DIONIC HC 91-watt-hour capacity battery, CINE VCLX and several battery accessories.

Autoscript will be launching several exciting new products and developments to enhance the prompting process, from professional quality prompting on Apple i-Series products to wireless presenter controls. For example, Autoscript has partnered with Teleprompting Techniques to offer a professional prompting app for users of the iPod, iPad and iTouch.

Litepanels will showcase its award-winning range of pioneering LED lighting, including the new Sola 4 that features a 10cm Fresnel lens and is based on the same breakthrough technology as Litepanels’ award-winning Sola 6. It will also be showing the sleek camera-mounted Croma, featuring variable colour temperature output from daylight (5600°K) to tungsten (3200°K) and the Hilio High Output LED light, capable of throwing high-quality illumination over a 6 to 7.5m distance.

OConnor will showcase its new Ultimate 1030D and 1030Ds fluid heads designed for full-format sensor, lighter weight cameras such as the RED Epic and Scarlet as well as the Sony F3. Also being introduced is the new O-Focus DM, a follow focus optimised for use with still photo lenses, which joins OConnor‘s range of professional camera accessories including the CFF-1 Cine Follow Focus and award-winning O-Box WM Mattebox and O-Grips Handgrip combination.

Petrol Bags will showcase the updated Deca Sound Man Rain Poncho (PS606). The ultimate in weather protection for the working sound professional, it is sized to comfortably cover a user carrying a mixer and fully loaded Eargonizer bag. The Poncho now provides greater elasticity and water protection while offering, enhanced ventilation and access to vital equipment.

Sachtler will showcase its new Ace fluid head and tripod system. Ace is the perfect camera support for the growing market of videographers and DSLR filmmakers. With a payload of up to 4 kilograms, Ace is ideal for smaller HDV camcorders and video-enabled DSLR cameras. It’s also compact and durable and thanks to a special composite material, it is extremely lightweight.

Vinten's display will focus on lightweight heads and systems from its highly acclaimed Vision AS range, including the popular Vision blue, which will be demonstrated alongside the award-winning Vector 430. Vinten’s sister brand, Vinten Radamec, will showcase its new Fusion FHR-35 remote pan and tilt head for the first time in the UK. The pan and tilt head represents a major step forward in camera robotics and incorporates Vinten Radamec’s new Intelligent Control Engineering (ICE) platform.
