ViewCast appoints ATG Broadcast as UK Reseller

Agreement renews business relationship; enhances ViewCast's regional visibility as streaming media leader

ViewCast Corporation (OTCBB: VCST), a developer of industry-leading solutions for the transformation, management and delivery of digital media over enterprise, broadband, and mobile networks, has signed a reseller agreement with ATG Broadcast, based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, UK. The agreement will entitle ATG Broadcast to sell to end users and dealers the full range of ViewCast's current product offerings, including the award-winning Niagara® streaming media appliances and Osprey® video capture cards, and software-based solutions such as ViewCast Media Platform (VMp™), SimulStream® and ScheduleStream®.

According to new analysis from Frost & Sullivan , digital mandates are anticipated to fuel immediate demand for video encoders in Western Europe, with HD and other advanced compression format upgrades being the real market drivers. ViewCast is poised to capitalize on this opportunity with its high-performance, easy-to-use solutions for webcasting, mobile streaming and Internet TV, and innovative capabilities such as high definition to standard definition switching-on-the-fly, widescreen signaling, bitmap overlay, de-interlacing, inverse telecine, and a wide range of other professional features.
