VER Strengthens Inventory with New Grass Valley HD Live Production Technologies

VER has served the broadcast and A/V markets for over 26 years

Video Equipment Rentals (VER)—a premiere AV/broadcast equipment rental company based in Glendale, Calif., has added a variety of new high-definition cameras and a new video production switcher from Grass Valley™ to its extensive inventory of HD production equipment.

The company will now offer the Grass Valley LDK 8000 Elite WorldCam camera, capable of acquiring images in all HD format types; the LDK 8300 HD Super SloMo camera system, which can be used in 3X mode or as a standard HD camera; and the LDK 3000, a multi-format HD camera  with three Xensium™ imagers, for economical live staging projects.

As part of this latest equipment order, VER has also added a new Grass Valley Kayak™ 3 M/E HD switcher, further expanding their rental inventory of Kayak HD switchers (they currently offer several) and other production equipment. One of the Grass Valley Kayak HD switchers purchased by VER earlier this year immediately went to use in support of a major concert tour in Europe.

Grass Valley products offer both.

“VER supports a wide variety of projects and has chosen Grass Valley equipment knowing that they’ll get a fast return on their investment because our cameras and switchers can be used on a variety of projects,” said Jeff Rosica, Executive Vice President of Grass Valley.  “These are the first cameras going to VER and we expect the relationship to grow significantly over time.”
