TVC: TCI Partnership Moves Forward

.

TVC and TCI International (Part of SPX Corp.) has yet again partnered to deliver multiple mobile spectrum monitoring stations (SMS) to spectrum regulatory authorities of Trinidad and Tobago, Ghana and Malawi. In total five SMS stations constructed on Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter were delivered in record 45 days period to meet the end of year deadline.

TVC was able to meet the stringent technical and schedule requirements due to long lasting partnership with TCI and processes which were developed over the period of cooperation and made manufacturing and supply of stations possible in the shortest timeframes. This has not only improved delivery lead times, but also enhanced quality due to strict quality measures which were put in place along the whole manufacturing process.

“We had to think carefully about the quality assurance of SMS modification and system integration as the customers are based around the world. You don’t want to be travelling to Malawi or Ghana just to carry warranty repairs as it would have a significant financial impact. Overall project success depends on flawless quality.” – commented Andrius Gedvilas, Region Manager for Africa.
