TMT 28: Call for Contributions

VDT invites you to take an active role

The 28th Tonmeistertagung will be taking place in media metropolis Cologne from 20 to 23 November, where we can look forward to enjoying more space in the Congress Centrum Nord of the Cologne Exhibition Centre this year.

As accustomed, it will focus on the latest trends in product development, findings from research and practical application, professional topics, and provide an opportunity for colleagues to share experience.

To ensure a broad and representative overview of the latest developments in technology and markets, Verband Deutscher Tonmeister calls for interested sound editors, sound engineers, artists, producers, scientists, publishers, companies and institutes to take an active role in creating the programme for this renowned international specialist convention.

If you would like to take part, you can propose contributions until 31 July 2014.

A number of formats are available. As yet unpublished and product-neutral talks and poster presentations discuss current industry developments and practical topics. Workshops offer the opportunity to showcase hands-on audio-visual work. Several halls will be set up for high-quality presentations of a variety of formats, including (3D) multichannel audio and HD videos. The same is planned for the Talkback forum where sound editors, producers and students can present their productions for a critical and constructive discourse with colleagues.
