SSL Showcases New Broadcast Demonstration Van at NAB 2012

State-of-the-art Mobile Production Facility Available for Viewing at the SSL Booth

Solid State Logic, the world’s leading manufacturer of analogue and digital audio consoles and control surfaces, is showcasing its new Broadcast Demonstration Vehicle on the main floor at the 2012 NAB Show (Booth C2013). The 30-foot truck features a C10 HD Compact Broadcast Console, the full range of SSL Broadcast I/O and essential broadcast technologies from its partners Genelec, Miranda and RTS, all housed in a RBDG-designed environment.

“We put this vehicle together to show how the C10 seamlessly integrates into an HD audio production environment,” says Piers Plaskitt, CEO of SSL Inc. “Our guests will have the opportunity to see the equipment set in a realistic environment and they can also schedule a future appointment for an on-site visit at their facility. Taking the vehicle to a customer’s site allows the extended staff from broadcast stations, sports arenas, houses of worship and our network of educational clients to witness the power of SSL technology in their own backyard.”

The truck joins the dedicated C100 HDS and C10 HD broadcast console demo areas, with their associated routing and I/O solutions, at the booth. Also available will be a demonstration area for SSL’s Integration I/O Range and the multi award-winning Nucleus DAW Controller/audio interface – the ideal solution for small post suites.
