Sony Announces Sales of 10,000 TRIMASTER EL™ OLED Monitors Worldwide


Sony announced sales of 10,000 units for its TRIMASTER EL™ OLED range, of which approximately 2,000 were in Europe in the last year, confirming Sony as the leading OLED manufacturer in the professional AV monitor market. Sony’s TRIMASTER EL™ OLED monitors have been welcomed by the broadcast industry, garnering praise for unrivalled picture quality and integrated functionality.

Worldwide sales of Sony TRIMASTER EL™ OLED monitors topped 10,000 units, ushering in a new era in broadcast display technology. Sony underlined its position as the foremost supplier of OLED monitors with European sales approaching 2,000 units since April 2011 and confirmed that it is committed to further asserting its presence in the OLED market.

Sony offers an unrivalled portfolio of OLED products with seven models currently available, including the BVM-E, BVM-F and PVM series. By offering such a wide range of TRIMASTER EL™ OLED monitors to the broadcast and post production markets, Sony has been able to meet a varied set of customer requirements and made cutting-edge display technology affordable to a greater number of people.
