SOMMER CABLE at the Light+Building 2012
The SYSWALL product family
A modular connection plate system for media technical applications for integration in walls, dado trunks and surface-mounted connection units. For this purpose the centre plates are available in 3 different sizes: 45x45 mm, 50x50 mm and 55x55 mm.
The 45x45 mm modules can be clipped directly into 45 mm micro dado trunks without using frames or sockets which allows a fast and visually attractive installation. A large number of matching housings and ducts can also be found in SOMMER CABLE’s portfolio.
The 50x50 mm and the 55x55 mm modules have been designed for the classical switchframe integration. Whereas the 55x55 mm modules can be fitted directly into the widespread switchframe series with the same centre plate size, the 50x50 mm series (centre plate made of massive 4 mm stainless steel) is compatible with all switchframe series on the market. All common media interfaces are available.
The CARDINAL DVM 194 series
Compact and easy to operate active components for use in conference rooms, auditoriums and public buildings. The series comprises e.g. a 2 x 80 W stereo power amplifier which is completely remote-controllable via IP. This can be easily integrated into the modular SYSBOXX housing (similar to DIN 41494) and thus combined directly with other active modules or passive connection units. Owing to the IP interface, an integration into building automation systems or the combination with different media controls is simple to realise. The administration takes place via an intuitive web interface.
The HICON HI-FIBER4 connector:
A 4-fibre fibre-optical connection with an all-metal housing for heavy-duty indoor and outdoor applications. The use of standard LC connectors inside the HI-FIBER4 makes it easy to configure and, in case of service, also facile to repair. The construction conforms to protection class IP68.
For us this was the first Light+Building. We are happy about the good response and the many interesting talks with the visitors at our stand“, says Peter Rieck, key account manager with SOMMER CABLE. And he continues: “We will certainly be present again at the next Light+Building.“
