Snell Appoints Andrey Velichko Head of Sales for CIS and Baltics
In cooperation with the Snell sales team, Velichko will define and implement account plans and sales strategies. In his role supporting Snell's existing client base and in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key accounts, Velichko will have the assistance of two local technical sales engineers.
"Andrey brings with him the expertise to take our business in CIS to a new level," said Stefan Geradts, Snell sales director for Central and Eastern Europe. "We already see the effects of Andrey's work, as he has begun redefining our operations in the region to make the Snell experience even better for our clients and partners."
Velichko began his career at Sony in 1996 and spent 15 years with the company. At Sony, he held senior leadership roles in which he was responsible for business development and strategy, sales, product marketing of broadcast products, and consulting services in EMEA markets.
During his time at Sony, Velichko earned company-wide accolades for directing the company's EMEA managed professional services to dramatic sales increases. He joins Snell today with a proven track record in managing key accounts, leading content restoration and mass digitization projects, optimizing customer workflows, and guiding sales and business development.
While heading up the Moscow office, Velichko will report directly to Geradts.
