Small, Smaller, microHD Camera System
posted:
The microHD camera head measures a mere 26 x 26 x 22 mm – just a fourth of the dimensions of the LMP bestseller HD1200. The midget’s performance is also well worth looking at: Its 1/3” CMOS sensor generates a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 24/25/30/50/60 fps in HDSDI up to 3Gbit/s.
The corresponding CCU, which incorporates all common output ports, scores with its integrated control panel and connects to the camera with a standard 20-pin camera cable of up to 15 meters. Operation control via PC interface and the reliable remote panel is also possible.

The new micro camera is especially interesting for miniature 3D systems and point-of-view applications. Due to Genlock IN/OUT with Trilevel Sync, the microHD provides a compact structure, which does not require auxiliary devices. For the broadcast of action-packed events, the new LMP family member is an equally powerful partner – as a referee on the tennis net, as a race post in Formula 1 cars or a bird’s eye in aerial vehicles.
