Sky News Arabia’s State-of-the Art Headquarters to Use Vinten Radamec Technology
The Abu Dhabi based channel has ordered a range of Vinten Radamec products. The landmark studios, a 50-50 joint venture between Abu Dhabi Media Investment Corp (ADMIC), a private investment company, and British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB), are due to launch in the spring of 2012. The channel will be based in a three floor facility housing a multimedia newsroom, craft edit suites, live graphics production and a news operations centre that will manage Sky News Arabia’s international network of thirteen bureaux. The channel’s main studio will be in a completely redesigned space within the complex.
The Vinten Radamec order was secured by the leading creator and supplier of innovative, professional broadcast solutions, TSL, who were appointed as Systems Integrator to deliver the technical fit-out of the studios, production and broadcasting functions.
Paul Holmes, technical sales manager for EMEA & Asia at Vinten Radamec comments: “Fusion heads combined with our precision pedestals provide the exact performance that will enable Sky News Arabia to deliver consistently high-production values and establish a firm visual identity. Through ease of implementation and resilient, reliable performance, our camera systems deliver a real and rapid return on investment.”
