Showcasing the Future of Innovation Around the Camera at BVE 2014

Eight of the industry’s market leading brands Anton/Bauer, Autoscript, Camera Corps (CCL), Litepanels, OConnor, Sachtler, Vinten and Vinten Radamec, part of the Vitec Group, will be demonstrating a range of their latest, innovative products at the forthcoming BVE 2014, 25-27 February, at the ExCel Centre in London.

More than 15,000 industry professionals are expected to attend the event, the biggest networking and business show in the UK broadcasting calendar, and will have the opportunity to see how the most recent products from these renowned brands are advancing the quality and science of media production.

Highlights will include the first official display of Litepanels’ Hilio D12 and T12 fixtures, as the shippable product versions of these latest panel series make their industry debut. Sachtler’s new tripod for DV users, the 75 HD will also be premiered. Visitors to BVE will be able to see for themselves the compact dimensions of the new model, which make these tripods indispensable companions for every MiniDV and (H) DV camera operator.

Innovative products from these leading brands will take centre stage on stand H05:
Anton/Bauer will exhibit a whole host of products from its industry renowned power solutions, including its Dionic range of logic series batteries with their field proven technology, alongside the company’s TM4, Quad 2702 and Tandem 70 chargers. For the world of film and digital cinema production, the Anton/Bauer Cine VCLX series, recognised by AMPAS with a prestigious Sci-Tech award, will also be on display.

Market leaders in the prompting space, Autoscript, will demonstrate its award-winning E.P.I.C all-in-one prompter display and on-air talent monitor, an integrated solution that weighs 3kg less than separate components and uses 20 per cent less power. The E.P.I.C will be shown together with Autoscript’s highly successful ELP15 On Camera Prompter and the TFT8” flat screen on-camera prompter. For the ideal portable prompting solution, the company will also demonstrate its new XBOX ULTRA, a product based on its successful XBOX USB external box solution for prompting, with more enhanced features and capabilities.

The debut of the lighting pioneer Litepanels’ Hilio D12 and D12 fixtures will be accompanied by a range of its groundbreaking Fresnel fixtures including the latest Sola 12 and Inca 12, and the four and six inch versions of the fixtures.

OConnor will display  a variety of its solutions made to complement today’s high-end film and television production, with models from its successful Ultimate range, including the lighter weight Ultimate 1030D fluid head and the film production standard Ultimate 2575D fluid head. The products form part of OConnor’s growing range of camera and lens accessories engineered to support the demands of today’s challenging and precision focused camera work.

For professional videographers, Petrol Bags will be showcasing an extensive product range at this year’s show featuring the Deca Line for camcorders such as the unique Dec Dr.Bags, and numerous bags especially designed for DSLR cameras. Audio equipment bags such as the Deca Eargonizer Sound Bags and the latest Deca Large Lightweight Audio Bag for Sound Devices.

The new Sachtler 75HD tripod designed for the FSB series will be shown in combination with the FSB 6 and FSB 8 fluid heads, to demonstrate how this robust and durable option can provide the ease of use and quick set up vital for all fast-moving ENG applications. The company’s award-winning super lightweight fluid head with telescopic tripod, the Sachtler Ace L TT, will also be on the stand alongside the company’s legendary Sachtler Video 18 ENG/EFP head and Cine 7+7 ENG 2 CF.

Vinten will be showcasing its highly successful Vision blue system together with the bluebridge, an accessory that works with any of the pan and tilt heads in the Vision blue range to extend the payloads which can be perfectly balanced. Ideal for both studio cameras and EFP configurations, the Vision 250 system, and the Vector 430 that is aimed at the growing number of applications using compact box lens and large EFP barrel lenses will also be displayed.

In the automation arena, Vinten Radamec will be demonstrating several new and creative opportunities for robotics by displaying a range of products working together as one innovative solution. For studio applications, the FH145 will be shown with the Osprey Elite and FBH-175 height drive, and for remote locations the flexible FHR-35 head will be on the stand with a HD tripod. The company’s successful HDRVC control system will  be shown alongside CCL’s globally renowned Q-Ball remote camera system with its large joystick controller. Camera Corps’ will also be launching an exciting addition its existing Q-ball range with its brand new Q3 Q-Ball product, incorporating a host of enhanced features.
