Ruige to Introduce TL1730HDA-CO Carry-On Picture Monitor at IBC2014

The monitor is supplied complete with a detachable folding sunshade plus a transit case which is resistant to impact, water, dust and high temperatures. Throw in a PHABRIX RX500 and now you have your first ever DIT or DP fully portable workstation, DC powered, with eye pattern and generator for both video and audio. This combination will be demonstrated on the Ruige stand throughout IBC."
Setting up or packing down the TL1730HDA-CO take less than one minute. All controls are positioned at the front of the unit, rotating upwards from the front of the external case at the push of a single button. The cased TL1730HDA-CO has been tested to survive a 1,500 mm drop. The screen is safeguarded against scratches or impact by a removable protector. Total case dimensions are 528 x 355 x 45 mm and the weight is approximately 7.5 kg.
The Ruige TL1730HDA-CO has a 1920 x 1080 resolution 17.3 inch screen based on a 10 bit IPS panel with a wide 178 degree horizontal and vertical viewing angle. Picture quality is well up to the standard required for production monitoring, with 300 cd/m² image brightness, 600:1 contrast ratio, 3 millisecond response time and 0.1989 x 0.1989 mm dot pitch. Display mode can be switched between 16:9 and 4:3. The monitor is equipped with 3G/HD/SD-SDI, HDMI and composite inputs plus a dual channel analogue audio input and a red/green tally feed. These are augmented by 3G/HD/SD-SDI and composite video outputs plus a SDI-de-embedded audio output, 3.5 mm headphone feed and integral 2 watt loudspeakers.
The TL1730HDA-CO can be operated for up to six hours from a 130 watt-hour standard broadcast lithium battery, connected via V mount or Gold mount battery plate. A universal mains adapter is provided.
