Seminar for manufacturers and implementers on March 21, 2011

ALC NetworX, the Munich-based company developing the RAVENNA Audio over IP technology, invites manufacturers and implementers to participate in a 1-day technical seminar on Monday, March 21, 2011, from 9 am to 5.30 pm in Munich. The organisers announce that within this workshop participants will learn about the technological principles and protocols employed in RAVENNA.

Other topics include an overview of various implementation models, portability to different platforms and an introduction to services and IP available from ALC NetworX to aid possible RAVENNA integration. A technology demonstration will also be available and ample time is given for Q&A and discussion. The goal is to provide enough information to get the participating companies started investigating on how RAVENNA could potentially be integrated into existing or future products.

Registration is required by February 18, 2011, at the latest; registrations will be processed in the order of their arrival.

ALC NetworX GmbH

ALC NetworX was founded in October 2007 and is based in Munich, Germany. The company has been established as a competence center with its own R&D department. Our mission is to develop and establish RAVENNA - a network-based solution for distributing real-time audio signals for the Professional Audio / Broadcast market. The solution clearly meets the high standards of the Professional Audio / Broadcast community in terms of quality, reliability and availability. It is purely based on existing and widely supported IP protocols (e.g. RTP, UDP, TCP, IP etc.) to allow operation on existing network infrastructures. Although product implementations will be executed by individual partner companies, ALC NetworX will continue to keep the lead role in the RAVENNA technology development.
