Presentation of BFE at the FIAT/IFTA World Conference

With his presentation “It’s more than just technology” Jürgen Loos demonstrated to the participants a case study on the selection and implementation of a company-wide media asset management system at the important Arab broadcaster MBC Group, Dubai. Focus of the presentation was to inform of the approach to this project and to address the changing production processes at MBC and resulting impacts on the employees in various areas of the broadcast station.
BFE has supported the event as a Platinum Sponsor and, on this occasion, presented itself as a German system integrator.

The Fédération Internationale des Archives de Télévision/The International Federation of Television Archives (FIAT/IFTA) promotes the cooperation among television archives, multimedia and audiovisual archives and libraries, and all those engaged in the preservation and exploitation of moving image and recorded sound materials and associated documentation. Since its foundation in 1977, more than 250 members have joined the FIAT/IFTA.
