Ozkan Productions Introduces Europe's first OBVan Equipped with TRIMASTER EL™ OLED Monitors

As part of this investment, Ozkan Productions has upgraded its vans to include a number of Sony’s High Definition cameras and video mixers. In its newest van, the company has also installed a total of 40 Sony TRIMASTER EL™ OLED monitors (34 x 17” PVM-1741 / 6 x 25” PVM-2541 monitors). This is the first time in Europe an outside broadcast vehicle has been equipped solely with OLED monitors.

In recent years, CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) monitors, which have been used since the start of TV broadcasting, have been replaced with LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) models. However, negative feedback around the performance of LCD monitors and advances in OLED technology have made CRT monitors obsolete. The industry is now turning to OLED as tests have proven that they consume less energy and therefore lower the impact on the environment. In addition, Sony’s TRIMASTER EL™ OLED monitors offer superior images and darker blacks when compared to CRT monitors.

With its Full High Definition capabilities and OLED monitors, we believe this van is able to provide the most realistic colours and image quality ever seen in an outside broadcast vehicle.”

Working closely with Ozkan Productions was Sony Professional Solutions Specialist, Ateksis. Ateksis provided the equipment and managed the project perfectly, helping Ozkan Productions to create Europe's first OLED monitor equipped broadcast vehicle.
