Broadcast Solutions GmbH announces the date for the 2011 Open House Event in Bingen/Germany for June 16th 2011. As known from the past years Broadcast Solutions will present actual projects, lectures and product presentations of well-known manufacturers. Detailed informations and an application form will be announced at the Broadcast Solution’s website in May.

Broadcast Solutions manufactures seven DSNG-Vehicles for ANO Sports Broadcasting (Russia)

Broadcast Solutions GmbH is manufacturing seven DSNG vehicles for ANO Sports Broadcasting (Russia). The four-wheel-drive Mercedes Sprinter vehicles with a maximum weight of 5t are equipped with 1.8m antennas, fully redundant satellite equipment and the newest Ericsson Voyager II Encoders and IRD’s. The delivery is scheduled for July 2011. ANO Sports Broadcasting is a new founded russian production company, the vehicles will be used for russian sports events as well as the Olympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi. The whole project is realized in a close collaboration with Russian partners.

Sports Broadcasting was founded as an autonomous non-profit organisation by OJSC Channel One, FGUP VGTRK, OJSC NTV-PLUS and the RIA Novosti news agency on December 24, 2009.Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak is the head of the Supervisory Board.

Sports Broadcasting has developed specifications, conducted tenders and signed contracts to purchase the following state-of-the-art professional TV equipment: 12 OBVans (production vehicles) with HDTV video and 5.1 sound (three 24-camera units, four 16-camera units, and five 10-camera units). The OBVans are equipped with micro- and mini-cameras, small cranes, special platforms for mounting TV cameras, and telephoto and wide-angle lenses. Also, Sports Broadcasting has purchased seven DSNGs (mobile satellite earth stations) and other TV equipment: a spider camera, remote controlled telescopes, Steadicams, a high-speed camera rail system, etc. A mobile master control room will be used for complex events. A media office will make it possible for national broadcasters to form a unified video archive and to promptly prepare TV news reports.
