Article Overview

One Company. One Direction. The Future.

Mathias Eckert

Harris Broadcast Communications has created a new business region by combining its existing Europe and Africa (EA) teams. Under the direction of Mathias Eckert, vice president of sales and service for Europe and Africa, the new EA operation aligns sales and services in the region, and delivers increased flexibility in the allocation of commercial and technical resources in-country.

The EA operation is broken down into four sub-regional teams reporting into Eckert. The team leads and respective areas of responsibility are:

• Sally Wallington, who heads the United Kingdom, Israel and South Africa
• Nicolas Berthier, who heads France, Belgium and North Africa
• Valter Bordignon, who heads Italy, Iberia, Greece and Malta
• Stefan Weidner, who heads the Nordic countries and Central Europe

“Harris Broadcast is entering the next phase of evolution in this region after years of successful growth,” said Eckert. “A close relationship between all parties involved in complex broadcast projects is key to a successful outcome. With this reorganization, we aim to achieve increased streamlining among Harris Broadcast, dealers and customers at the local level.”

Eckert adds: “Day-to-day business continues as normal, and Harris Broadcast customers should contact their local dealers and regional sales managers as they have previously.”
